A ribbon cutting was held to welcome Madison’s Niche to 186 Seventh Street. In 2011, Karen McAvoy, owner, opened the first Madison’s Niche in Huntington Village. She brought some of the unique and best selling products from her original store, Four Star, the home store in Sayville. At Madison’s Niche, one will find everything from unique home décor to designer apparel, beautiful jewelry and gifts. With over 25 years of experience, Karen felt the need to bring the style she is so passionate about to Garden City. Karen notes, “When shopping at Madison’s Niche, it’s not just shopping, it’s an experience!”

Attending the ribbon cutting were (L-R): Roger Eltringham, Michael Ventre and Tom McCambridge (Chamber of Commerce); Eileen Closs and Stephanie Giammarino (Madison’s Niche); Stephanie Cullum, Chamber president; Karen McAvoy, Kim Nedelka (Madison’s Niche); Kevin Walsh (Garden City Chamber); Kenny McAvoy (Madison’s Niche); John Wilton, Tim McCue, Liz Denby and Althea Robinson (Chamber of Commerce); Dennis Donnelly and Richard Silver (Village Trustees); and Grady Colin (Garden City Chamber).
