Northwestern Mutual – Garden City, is currently seeking energetic Financial Representatives to continue our ambitious growth plan serving the greater Long Island area. As a Financial Representative you will have the unique opportunity to be in control of your future while having a life-long impact on the lives of your clients, families and your community. Your goal is to discover each client's goals and needs, and ultimately work to design and implement a 360-degree plan for a lifetime of financial security.

In this role you will:
• Decide how to build your book of business by choosing your clients and the markets you want to pursue. You will generate new leads by attending community events, joining networking groups, utilizing online marketing and social media and prospecting for referrals.
• Build your practice to the level of success to which you
aspire with unlimited growth potential and opportunities to move into leadership roles.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Have, or willing to obtain licenses such as life and health, Series 6, 63, 7, 66. We also cover tuition costs for designations such as the CFP and will encourage you to pursue that learning path in the first few years
• Strong interpersonal skills and networking skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and with a history of personal success
• Ambitious and driven
